Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flooddeaths occur in vehicles.Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize thedangers of flooding.Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or lawenforcement and request they pass this information to the NationalWeather Service when you can do so safely.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.* WHERE...A portion of northeast South Dakota, including thefollowing counties, Deuel and Hamlin.* WHEN...Until 430 AM CDT Monday.* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lyingand flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 1028 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due tothunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to beginshortly in the warned area.
