...The National Weather Service in Houston/Galveston TX has issued aFlood Warning for the following rivers in Texas...Trinity River near Crockett affecting Walker, Houston, Madisonand Trinity Counties..Recent rains will route down to the area resulting in an expectedrise to above flood stage.For the Trinity River...including Crockett...Moderate flooding isforecast.* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.* WHERE...Trinity River near Crockett.* WHEN...From Thursday evening until further notice.* IMPACTS...At 45.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding begins in thevicinity of the gage impacting livestock grazing and prison farms.In past floods problems occurred from the Highway 7 bridgedownstream to Highway 21 bridge due to high flows in the backwaterof Lake Livingston.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 8:45 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 38.0 feet.- Bankfull stage is 35.0 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stagelate tomorrow evening and continue rising to 45.3 feet Mondayevening.
