Niagara photographer captures galaxies millions of light years away

Candid Closeup is a weekly segment that features Canadians from coast to coast who love to share their weather. In this episode, The Weather Network's Kim MacDonald had the opportunity to speak with Kerry-Ann Lecky Hepburn, a talented photographer who has peered into galaxies millions of light years away.

Kerry-Ann Lecky Hepburn has only to step into her front yard to find galaxies that are millions of light years away.

With a computer, a telescope, and a camera she is able to capture stunning images that have caused a stir amongst both space and photography enthusiasts.

She may have a bit of an edge, though; her very own personal observatory.

In this edition of Candid Closeup, the Niagara resident shows us her fascinating set-up and jaw-dropping photos.
