Rain, at times heavy, continues.

Where: Metro Vancouver - North Shore, Metro Vancouver - northeast, northern sections of Fraser Valley - west and Howe Sound.

When: Early this morning.

Total rainfall amounts: 40 to 60 mm.

Remarks: An upper disturbance crossing the South Coast this morning will give heavy rain to the area early this morning. Further rainfall amounts of 10 to 15 mm are expected. The heavy rain will ease to a few showers this morning.

Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
