Where: BC North Peace River and southern Fort Nelson regions.

When: Today.

Rainfall amount: 40 to 50 mm.

Remarks:
A narrow band of heavy rain has developed over the southern Fort Nelson region, and North BC Peace River. The band will give occasionally heavy rain especially near embedded thunderstorms and near the Rocky Mountains. As the band moves southward, rain will ease this morning in the southern Fort Nelson region and ease by early this evening elsewhere.

Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
