Sunday, February 7, 2016, 5:46 PM - In his 40 years of fishing, Nova Scotia resident Barry Sullivan has never seen anything quite like this unusual lobster.

Sullivan and his daughter Cassandra were checking traps earlier this week off Herring Cove, about 15 km south of Downtown Halifax, when they found the 3-clawed crustacean.

"It was very unusual, I'd never seen a unique lobster before," Cassandra told CBC.

The extra claw on the lobster's left side isn't functional.

The sea creature dubbed Baba, is now situated at Now We're Cookin' restaurant but rest assure, his fate doesn't lie at the bottom of a boiling pot of water. The Sullivans hope to move Baba to a museum.

"So he's not hidden away, that would be nice," Cassandra added.
