Wednesday, January 6, 2016, 3:12 PM - When soap bubbles are formed in temperatures that are -15C or colder, they freeze. While that may not sound remarkable, the frozen structures they leave behind certainly are.
On Tuesday, YouTube user ZALUSKArt uploaded a spectacular, high-definition video of soap bubbles transforming from liquid to solid form.
It's a neat winter-time experiment you can conduct at home, provided it's cold enough outside.
All you need is:
- 3 cups of water
- 1 cup of dish soap
- 1/2 a cup of corn syrup
Mix the solution together and voila -- you've got everything you need to create the bubbles seen in the video above.
