Thursday, November 26, 2015, 12:00 PM - As heavy snow fell across the Prairies on Tuesday, driving conditions quickly deteriorated.

As they always do, police officials sent out a warning for drivers. This time, it sparked a chord among the social media world.

Meghan Mochoruk, Kindersley RCMP's social media manager, decided to rap the warning and chose Ice Ice, Baby by Vanilla Ice, as her inspiration.

From there, Edmonton Police Service's started a battle with their own weather warning to the tune of "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.".

"Edmonton Police Service just dropped the mic on us," Kindersley RCMP wrote on Facebook in response to the post.

Now, this is a story all about howMy car got flipped-turned upside downAnd I'd like to take a minuteJust sit right...

Not to be outdone, Calgary Police quickly joined in on the "lyrical antics" to help promote safe winter driving.

With the battle in full gear, Kindersley RCMP pulled out all the stops and threw some Spice into the mix.

And of course Weather Network's own Chris Murphy just couldn't resist as he performed his own weather rap rendition live Thursday morning.

Watch his hilarious performance in the video above.

"Well it ain't no sham, I am the weather man,
And I'm checkin' out the pattern from Earth straight to Saturn.
Rain or snow, I'll keep you in the know,
If you need to find me, I'm hanging with my homie on the CBC."
