Wednesday, July 9, 2014, 6:41 PM - Tropical Storm Fausto has already dissipated, but not before posing for an interesting photo for NASA satellites.
Fausto was born Monday in the eastern Pacific and strengthened quickly, developing into a tropical storm within hours.
A satellite image taken by NASA's GOES-West satellite yesterday shows the storm being 'chased' by a developing area of low pressure off to the east.
By Tuesday, the storm had sustained winds of 75 km/h and was situated about 2,000 kilometres off the southern tip of Baja California.

Fausto lost steam quickly, degenerating into a trough of low pressure by Wednesday.
The remnants of the cyclone are expected to continue moving in a west-northwestward direction for the next several days before dying out completely.
