Ontario woman follows GPS right into Tobermory harbour

Friday, May 13, 2016, 3:16 PM - Police in Tobermory, Ont., retrieved a call from harbour Friday morning after a 23-year-old woman from Kitchener, Ont. followed instructions from her car's GPS system, which led her down a boat launch and into the water.
Weather may have played a role as well, as it was raining, dark and foggy at the time of the incident, the CBC reports.

According to police, the vehicle was "fully submerged" in the water.

The woman was able to roll down her window and exit the vehicle, which was about 30 metres from shore. She swam to safety in 4C water and then called for help.
She was not hurt in the incident.
