NOT ENOUGH TO END DROUGHT WOES
Unfortunately, the rain won't be enough to end the drought crisis in California.
The state is currently in the midst of one of the driest spells in modern history, with about 93 percent of the state in a severe drought or worse, according to the U.S. Drought Monitor.
A December report suggests the region needs 11 trillion gallons of water to make up for the four-year rainfall deficit plaguing the region.
