Friday, February 6, 2015, 4:39 PM - Rudiger the cat takes on a 1-metre snow drift in a YouTube video that has made him an internet sensation.

It's unclear where -- or when -- the video was shot, but it was uploaded to YouTube Tuesday.

Since then, it has been viewed more than 800,000 times.

While most people seem to get a chuckle out the clip, other online comments suggest Rudiger's owner is mean to let the cat struggle.

At any rate, the story has a happy ending.

The video ends with Rudiger exploring a snowy backyard.
