Brought to Mud Lake after being found in a swimming pool, the lost baby mallard was trying to latch onto any female mallard that reminded it of its mother. It can swim very fast and followed a female mallard in the water and on land. Baby kept calling out the whole time, beep beep beep beep. At this young age they need their mom to stay warm. But this was not its mom.
