The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy hasdeclared Thursday June 20th to be an action day for elevated levelsof ozone. Pollutants are expected to be in the Unhealthy forSensitive Groups range.The action day is in effect for the following Michigan counties...St. Clair...Livingston...Oakland...Macomb...Washtenaw...Wayne andMonroe.It is recommended that, when possible, you avoid strenuous outdooractivities, especially those with respiratory diseases such asasthma. People and businesses are urged to avoid activities whichcan lead to ozone formation.
