If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may leadto localized flooding. Description

At 223 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms alonga line extending from 6 miles north of Conneaut to near Lottsville tonear Smethport. Movement was northeast at 20 mph.HAZARD...Very heavy rainfall within slow moving storms. These stormswill also have the potential to become severe with damagingwinds and large hail possible.SOURCE...Radar indicated.IMPACT...Should these storms intensify, strong winds could causedamage to roofs, siding, and trees and large hail couldcause damage to vehicles. Heavy rain could cause localizedflooding.Locations impacted include...Jamestown, Olean, Salamanca, Wellsville, Allegany State Park,Lakewood, Falconer, Allegany, Mayville, Clymer, Cuba, Long PointState Park, Jamestown West, Weston Mills, Frewsburg, St. Bonaventure,Chautauqua Institution, Whitesville, Findley Lake, and Chautauqua.This includes the following highways...Interstate 90 near exit 61.Interstate 86 between exits 4 and 27, and near exit 29.
