Meteorologist and Videojournalist Mario Picazo joined the Pelmorex team as a member of TWN (Canada), El Tiempo (Spain), and Clima (Latin America) in 2016 and took on roles as a weather and climate expert. Mario’s main interests today are related to the impact anthropogenic climate change is having on weather and climate, and the implementation of new technologies and solutions that exist to decarbonize global economies. Mario completed his doctorate work in Atmospheric Sciences and Geography at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), where he now works as an adjunct professor teaching weather and climate.
