Can anything beat sipping on a refreshing cup of lemonade during the summer months?

In Fort Langley, B.C., a heavenly glass of freshly squeezed lemonade awaits you; however, this is no ordinary lemonade. It is a concoction of plant medicine lemonade crafted by Sarah Mierau, the owner and chef behind the newly unveiled Tradish's The Ancestor Cafe nestled within the Fort Langley National Historic Site.

Sarah incorporates indigenous plants known for their healing properties into her lemonade, offering relief from a range of conditions, from inflammation to stress. We had the opportunity to sample some of these delectable and healthful beverages.
