Video surfaces online of man parachuting into Toronto

A video posted on social media shows a man parachuting into Toronto Saturday afternoon

The identity of a man caught on camera parachuting into Toronto Saturday is still unknown.

Shortly after Toronto police couldn't locate the man in the Rosedale area, a 12-second video showing the skydiver was posted on Twitter. The woman who posted the clip claimed he came down near the intersection of Bloor and Sherbourne streets.

The video ends before the parachuter reaches the ground.

Police were sent to the Rosedale Valley Road and Sherbourne Street area to look for a skydiver who "came down in a park area" and "appeared to be in distress," CBC reported.

While officers were unable to locate anyone, police replied in a tweet that said a witness told it the skydiver was not injured.
