It's not summer: Winter is the season that requires the most car washes

Washing the car may seem like a summer activity, but if your area is salted frequently during winter, that will be the season your car will need the most attention.
Newer vehicles have a lot of sensors that can impact your ability to drive if they are obstrcuted by dirt and salt.
"Road salting and salting has changed quite a bit over the past ten years," Pierre Legere tells The Weather Network.
As president of Krown Rust Control, he says he's seen a switch from heavy rock salt on the roads during storms to a heavy wetting agent or a brine product designed to adhere to asphalt, which also sticks to your vehicle.
