Drought in Lake Titicaca, the world's highest [navigable] lake and South America's largest freshwater lake, located between Peru and Bolivia, is raising concern among locals and Indigenous communities.

The drop in water level threatens the colourful cultures and lifestyles of the Indigenous tribes who live on the floating islands they have built of reeds for thousands of years.
