Sunday, May 6, 2018, 12:21 PM - New Brunswick is in the midst of experiencing what could be the worst flooding since 1973. Current water levels in some areas are exceeding those of New Brunswick's 2008 flood.
Many people along the St. John River's course have had to leave their homes, with numerous road closures in effect in many communities, including Fredericton and Saint John.
The province has closed the Trans-Canada Highway between Fredericton and Moncton, and the Canadian Coast Guard has been called to help with flood relief efforts.
