Sunday, March 22, 2015, 2:43 PM - On Thursday, the B.C. RCMP tweeted the 'most Canadian photo ever' and it led to thousands of retweets, dozens of manipulations and an incredible amount of fans.
But Cpl. Shaun Begg never imagined the response he received.
"I'm actually very surprised...my thought was to take a photo of myself in serge with my personal camera for a personal screen saver, maybe a Christmas card," Begg told CBC. "I had no idea it would hit the internet and just explode."
Cpl Shaun Begg is stationed in Kaslo, British Columbia but the picture was taken on a glacier near Invermere, B.C.
The photo was featured on the content-sharing site Reddit where it received a lot of attention.
The picture also inspired many creative Canadians after The Weather Network challenged them to make the picture even more Canadian. Take a look at the amazing responses by some of our viewers.
