Cat acts as guide to blind and deaf dog

Tervel, a 14 year-old chocolate lab that is blind and partially deaf, used to spend most of his time in his basket, afraid to move around.

Then Pudditat the stray cat came along.

Pudditat is a bit of a bully that doesn't get along with other cats but he took to Tervel right away.

"I think he must have known Tervel was blind, because he sort of bonded with him straight away," owner Ann says.

Now, Pudditat keeps a watchful eye over Tervel, allowing him to venture outdoors with confidence.
