Wednesday, October 29, 2014, 12:04 PM - One man is fortunate that a group of good Samaritans were nearby when his vehicle started burning.

An accident in Virginia left one vehicle on fire—and one driver trapped inside.

One passerby saw the incident and went back to his car to grab a hammer with which he busted the sunroof open and dragged the man inside out of the flames.

The whole thing was captured on camera.

During the rescue, people asked the man if there was anyone else inside.

Shortly after the man was pulled out of the car, there was a small explosion and the flames intensified.

The driver was taken to VCU Medical Center but his injuries were only minor. According to witnesses, the man seemed a little nervous and upset, but physically okay.

The incident was loud enough that a man heard the crash from his nearby home
