Paris' most iconic landmark now has an added dimension to take your breath away: a transparent walkway on the first floor.

Unveiled this week after being refurbished, the 57 metre high glass walkway gives spectacular views of Paris below.

It has been treated with an anti-skid coating so that visitors do not slip in rainy conditions.

The walkway and refurbishment works started in 2012 and cost over €30 million.
