Tuesday, November 25, 2014, 5:26 PM - A strange new video circulating the internet features a tandoori lamb chop boldly going where no tandoori lamb chop has gone before.
The footage, which was uploaded to YouTube Monday, has been steadily racking up views and could become YouTube's next viral hit.
Back in mid-June, Novelist Nikesh Shulka and his friend, artist Nick Hearne and two other friends attached the lamb chop to a helium balloon equipped with a GPS tracker and a GoPro camera and then launched it into space from central England.

The video documents the lamb chop's journey, starting from the restaurant it came from and ending when the balloon bursts, sending the lamb chop crashing back down to Earth.
According to The UK Mirror the tracker attached to the camera was ruined when it hit freezing temperatures near the Earth's atmosphere -- causing the team to lose contact with the device and nearly ruining the experiment.
The friends initially thought they had lost their footage, but the camera -- and the lamb chop -- were later found nearly 200 km from the launch site, stuck inside a piece of farming equipment.
