Gloomy, fall-like Saturday in Ontario

Saturday, September 13, 2014, 9:35 AM - The "official" end of summer is still a few days away, believe it or not.
If you don't believe it, we don't blame you. It's distinctly October-like outside the windows of most people in Ontario Saturday, and temperature-wise, don't expect much improvement.
"Fall-like temperatures remain throughout the Great Lakes through the weekend," Weather Network meteorologist Brian Dillon said early Saturday morning.

That's already after a Friday of chilly temperatures, not even cracking the 20oC mark in most communities.
On Friday, Dillon says an east wind will be gusting up to 50 km/h, making it feel "raw and dreary"
As for the rain, it started early in many communities, and 5-15 mm is set to fall before the day is out.
At present, there are no watches, warnings or special weather statements out for this precipitation.
Although the cool temperatures will stick around Sunday, the skies will be clearer, so at least there'll be some sunshine to take the edge off. Soak it up while you can, though, as Monday will bring passing showers to the province once again.
LOOK TO THE SKIES: If the clouds clear out by the pre-dawn hours Sunday, you might catch a glimpse of an aurora. Have a look at the best of our viewer-submitted aurora shots below.
