Sunday, November 26, 2017, 7:54 PM - The Toronto Argonauts won the 105th Grey Cup on Sunday, taking a 24-27 win against the Calgary Stampeders as flurries fell and blanketed the field at Ottawa's TD Place Stadium.
Over 36,00 bundled-up fans watched as the Argos broke a 24 point tie with less than a minute left of the fourth-quarter.
The temperature was around minus 4oC at kickoff around 6:30 p.m. ET. As of 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Ottawa had picked up about 2 cm of snow, and players faced a slippery field throughout the game.
The heavy snow became the perfect backdrop for a truly Canadian scene as Shania Twain pulled up to her half-time performance pulled by a dogsled, in a red, bedazzled jumpsuit, and was then ushered on stage by a Mountie.
