Monday, April 9, 2018, 3:16 PM - Massive storms ripped through the Midwest in late March, bringing a dramatic end to a 306-day stretch without a tornado rated EF-3 or stronger in the U.S.
Several buildings were damaged at Jacksonville State University in Alabama during the storms.
The extent of the devastation of the EF-3 tornado that ripped through campus can be seen in newly-released security footage.
In total, 23 university buildings were severely damaged and an additional 50 buildings were impacted.
School was on recess during the incident, meaning the campus was mostly empty at the time.
No major injuries or deaths were reported.
Jacksonville State had been closed since the March 19 incident, with classes resuming Monday.
