Men attempting to steal honey attacked by 30,000 bees

Monday, April 6, 2015, 6:49 PM - Three Florida men were sent to the hospital after they climbed a tree and tried to steal honey from a beehive Sunday.
The men received about 50 stings each from the domesticated insects, local media reports. The hive they disturbed was home to upwards of 30,000 bees.

An adult woman was stung about a dozen times when she came out of her home to investigate but was not seriously injured, according to the local police department.
Authorities used a hose to spray the men and disperse the angry bees.
It is not yet known whether the men have been charged with a crime.
