New Candide Thovex ski video not for the faint of heart

Watch as French freestyle skier Candide Thovex -- arguably one of the most skilled skiers on the planet -- takes an unusual route down a hill in Val Blanc, France.

Starting from his home resort, Thovex expertly navigates the all obstacles he comes into contact with.
Thovex is something of a YouTube celebrity. His ski films are a mixture of skill and innovation and have amassed a large following.
Thovex, 32, used a GoPro to film this first-person video, which features somersaults, weaving through trees, and a few terrifying jumps.
