One woman dead after crash on Hwy. 401; Right westbound lane temporarily closed for investigation

A single-vehicle collision has left one woman dead on Highway 401 near Highway 25 in Milton, Onatrio Provincial Police (OPP) confirm.
The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m.
The westbound lanes of Highway 401 were temporarily closed from Highway 25 to Guelph Line for further investigation.
Just before 4:00 p.m., OPP tweeted that one lane remains blocked for collision investigation:

The driver was the only person in the vehicle, which went into a ditch, OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt said.
While the right lane remains blocked, traffic is still moving in the other lanes.
