PHOTOS: Mother Nature skipped a season for these Canadians

Friday, September 1, 2017, 4:45 PM - It appears Mother Nature skipped fall and went straight to winter in Labrador.
Canadians shared photos of snow building along the Quebec-Labrador border Thursday evening.
"Our members in LabWest received a special treat tonight while on patrol, SNOW," the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary posted on Twitter.

Newfoundlanders responded by warning locals of dangerous conditions on certain local routes, including the Fermont Highway and Route 500. Meanwhile, others were clearly not impressed with winter's early arrival.
The snow has since cleared up in the area, with light rain expected to continue through midnight.
Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for parts of southeastern Labrador, including Norman Bay to Lodge Bay.
"Rain at times heavy will continue into Saturday," the weather agency notes. "Total rainfall amounts of 50 to 60 mm can be expected."
Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible, Environment Canada adds.
