VIRAL: Photographer stands up to polar bear on icy cliff

Wednesday, July 11, 2018, 4:12 PM - Polar bears may be one of the most dangerous predators on the planet, but a photographer wasn't the least bit bothered when one stopped by to say hello.
The photographer in the video is part of a "Bear Patrol" unit at Cape Kozhevnikov in Russia -- a group that monitors and prevents bear conflicts at a nearby settlement.

He was taking pictures of this polar bear in the snow, when the bear became interested in the human clicking its photographs.
However, the photographer did not get intimidated by the bear and stood his ground till the wild animal finally went away.
Polar bears are considered a vulnerable species, with some populations doing worse than others, depending on where they live.
