Friday, November 14, 2014, 7:12 PM - The Monterey Bay Aquarium in California is shedding some light on the strange lives of jellyfish with a real-time web cam.
The cam features Pacific sea nettles, which can be found in Mexico and Canada.
It's live everyday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET.
The aquarium already hosts a series of other live cams -- including an otter and a penguin cam -- but they decided to start the jellyfish cam after receiving several requests from the public.

Pacific sea nettles are easily identified by their golden-brown bell shape.
In the wild, they can grow to be larger than 1 metre in diametre, but most are less than 50 centimetres.
Their tentacles may extend as far as 3 metres.
