"Red Deer was reporting light thunder showers with large hail at their airport, around 5:30 p.m. local time," said Weather Network meteorologist Brett Soderholm. "The risk is still in place for much of the province throughout Monday and Tuesday."

In southeastern Saskatchewan, moderate to heavy rain will continue to impact the region through Monday night.

"Upwards of an additional 30 mm of rainfall is expected around the Estevan area through Monday," added Soderholm.

Saskatchewan saw quite the cool-down from Saturday to Sunday. Regina went from 25.4° C Saturday, to a daytime high of 13° C on Sunday. A similar cool down is forecast for parts of Alberta mid-week, as another system passes through.

Currently there are no watches in warnings in place, but we encourage you to check back as some may be issued Monday.
