Tuesday, November 11, 2014, 6:26 PM - After winning $11.7 million in the lottery, Minnesota resident Joe Meath decided to keep doing what he's always done.

Meath, who is retired, has always been a man of his word, Fox9 reports.

He told reporters he bought a snow plow used last year and promised to take care of 10 accounts through to the end of this winter. Out of those, eight he plows for free, and the other two will be charged about $40.

He says he committed to the jobs before his big win, but he'll plow their routes anyway.

Meath cashed in his prized back in September and says he's been enjoying his new-found wealth.

“I don't know what I'd be doing if I wasn't doing this today,” Meath told Fox9.

“It's been fun doing what we've done with the money. We bought another house, we bought a motor home, but other than that, it's been difficult with trying to figure out what to do with the money."

He and his wife hope to eventually start a foundation that will place K9s with police departments.
