Description

Warning of potential coastal flooding issued jointly by Fisheries and Oceans Canada (Science) and the Meteorological Service of Canada - Quebec Region. Higher than normal water levels are expected near the coast Monday morning. A low pressure system from the Great Lakes will cause moderate winds over the regions below. The combination of these winds and the current period of high tidal ranges could produce minor overwash along the coast in and around the following locales on the dates and at the times specified (local time). Québec: 2024-06-24, from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. ### Flooding is possible along the coastline. Coastal erosion is possible in vulnerable areas. These warnings are issued when water levels pose a flooding threat to coastal areas. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
