Wednesday, December 23, 2015, 9:57 AM - A rescue team successfully removed a young man trapped in landslide rubble early Wednesday morning, after the teen spent more than 60 hours buried in waste.

Tian Zeming’s rescue comes days after a massive landslide swept through the southern Chinese city of Shenzhen, killing many and leaving dozens still missing.

The teen notified rescuers of another survivor close by, but later reports indicate another body was discovered, increasing the death toll to two, The Globe and Mail reports.

Zeming was taken to the hospital immediately after his rescue. He has since had surgery and remains in stable condition, though Xinhua reports that he may lose his foot.
