The facility was built by Duke Energy Florida. It contains 48,000 solar panels and is expected to start generating power for the park this spring.
A Disney spokesperson did not know what percentage of the resort's total power would come from the farm once operational, but the facility generates power equivalent to approximately 1,000 residential solar rooftop systems.
Sadly, only people with access to a helicopter will be able to appreciate the farm's clever design.

This isn't the first time Disney has incorporated a Mickey Mouse head into its design practices.
In fact, "hidden Mickeys" can be found throughout the company's properties.

One of the largest Mickey Mouse faces in the world can be found a 15 minute drive from Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
The Mickey Mouse Forest is comprised of 60,000 trees and was established in 1992, after the park bought additional acreage in the area.

The trees that had previously inhabited the space had been killed off by frost, leaving nothing behind.
Volunteers signed up to help create the forest which, like the new solar farm, can only be seen from the sky.
