Description
Temperatures overnight will fall into the low to mid 80s withheat indices remaining in the mid 80s to mid 90s across DeepSouth Texas. This will provide little relief from the heattonight into Wednesday morning and could lead to heat relatedillness.

Recommended Action

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out ofthe sun, and check up on relatives, neighbors, workers, and theelderly.Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loosefitting clothing. Try to limit exercise and strenuous activities toearly morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heatexhaustion and heat stroke. Heat related illnesses increasesignificantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. Death ispossible to unprepared people and pets.
