...The National Weather Service in Fort Worth TX has issued a FloodWarning for the following rivers in Texas...White Rock Creek Near White Rock Creek At Greenville Aveaffecting Dallas County.* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.* WHERE...White Rock Creek near White Rock Creek At Greenville Ave.* WHEN...From this morning to this evening.* IMPACTS...At 84.0 feet, Minor flooding will occur near the creek.Bike paths downstream of the gage will be flooded. Waterapproaches ball fields at Emmett Conrad High School.At 88.0 feet, Moderate flooding will occur along the creek. Ballfields at Moss Park are completely flooded.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- At 6:15 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 84.9 feet.- Bankfull stage is 84.0 feet.- Flood stage is 84.0 feet.- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 87.5feet by mid-morning. It will then fall below flood stage byearly this afternoon.

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessiverainfall is expected.* WHERE...A portion of north central Texas, including the followingcounties, Dallas, Ellis, Johnson and Tarrant.* WHEN...Until 800 AM CDT.* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.Ponding of water and water covered roads is occurring or isimminent.* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...- Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Thiswill likely cause urban and small stream flooding. Low lyingand/or poor drainage areas will experience minor flooding inthe advisory area.- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Grand Prairie, Mansfield,Desoto, Cedar Hill, Duncanville, Burleson, Lancaster,Waxahachie, Cleburne, Benbrook, Ennis, Midlothian, WhiteSettlement, Seagoville, Crowley, Forest Hill and GlennHeights.
